Chongmyoung Bae (called James), a South Korean is the Technical Director of ValourTech Machineries Sdn. Bhd. He holds Bachelor of Engineering degree, CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) by AWS (American Welding Society) and Black Belt of Six Sigma.

Prior to this appointment, he was the General Manager of boiler service team for DOOSAN Heavy Industries & Construction (Formerly known Korea Heavy Industries) and DOOSAN Engineering & Construction HRSG business group. Hence, he had a very broad background of DOOSAN HRSG and also the leading expert in this business.

He has served 30 years in the water and steam cycle process on all type of HRSG, Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Piping as manufacturing, quality, engineering, construction, commissioning, warranty and service.

He was also worked as production service engineering manager for GE (General Electric) Power over 3 years. He was in charge of technical and engineering support to the customer for global fleets HRSG’s. Not only for GE OEM but also for other OEM.

Good customer service & Engineering Services should not end with just the sale, it is only the beginning. We will provide the support to you with professional operation and maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, and engineering service for our products.

Ir. Dr. Ezzarhan bin Abdullah is a former Deputy Director working at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia. He had over 23 years of working experience involved in safety and health. He holds Doctor of Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan. He also received his Master of Science in Forensic Engineering with distinction from the University of Teesside, UK, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, UiTM and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from UTM.

He is experienced in international code such as ASME, ASTM, BS, ANSI, EN and API while involved with design approval for unfired pressure vessel, crane, hoisting machine, elevator and escalator. He had hands on experience of inspection and testing of the certificated and general machinery. Many of the incident cases which related to failure of the component, structure or system have been investigated since the Forensic Engineering Division established in 2007. The collapse of a structure at the Supermarket, a fire in a bulk storage tank in Johor, a dust explosion in Perak, a boiler explosion in Sabah, and a hydrogen explosion close to Johor are just a few examples of accident occurrences that resulted in fatalities and property damage. He is occasionally invited to testify in court as an expert witness regarding some of the cases that have been looked into.

He is also certified as a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC-Mechanical), Qualified Crane Inspector and Assessor (by SGS International), Qualified Lead Auditor of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) by SGS International and SIRIM and also Authorized Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor (by NIOSH). In addition, he is well taught in the root cause analysis technique (RCaT) and Tripod Beta which is the systematic method in accident investigation. He is also actively involved in giving talks and paper presentation in OSH seminar, national and international conference. Occasionally, he involved in giving advice and sharing experience from accident investigation to local university, government agencies and private such as UKM, UiTM, Herriot Watt University, UTHM, Petronas, JPK and MSNT. Periodically, he trains the DOSH officer for the subject of incident investigation, failure analysis and related to OSHMS. In addition, he is also one of the Approved Signatory for the Forensic Engineering Laboratory which is accredited with ISO 17025.

He serves as the primary consultant and coordinator for the most of DOSH’s research initiatives. The delivery and presentation of research on topics including Tower Crane Management, OSH R&D, KDNK, OSH Databank, and Safety Marks was successful. He is actively involved in the Department of Standard Malaysia’s (DSM) Standard Publication. He serves as the Mechanical Division’s Deputy Chairman on the National Standard Committee (NSC) and is a member of the NDT’s Technical Committee. He has recently invested a lot in digital technology, including AR, VR, and AI, in an effort to increase workplace health and safety.
